The rim with a scroll border. The urn-shaped body with scroll handles painted with stripes. The main body, painted with an exotic bird perched on a tree-stump amongst floral sprays. The waisted foot painted with radiating, stylised leaves and a scroll border. Glaze chips. Painted in blue on a pale blue glaze. Probably Liverpool, second quarter of the 18th century.
