In two parts. The oak top made in three sections and faced with a moulded edge which has acquired a deep, crusty surface. The top part fitted with two short, drawers each veneered with a single, walnut, panel faced with a deep, oak moulded edge. A single, bead oak moulding dividing this from the long drawer below. This lower drawer is decorated with two small walnut panels, each faced with a moulded edge inside an unusually, deep walnut, cushion moulding faced with a deep, oak moulding. The brass escutcheon orginal. A later pine moulding facing the bottom edge of the top part. The bottom part fitted with two graduating drawers repeating the two small walnut panels, faced with a moulded edge inside unusually, deep walnut, cushion mouldings faced with a deep, oak moulding. One escutcheon original, the other replaced. The drawers, unusually, fitted with fine, graduating, 19th century, turned wooden handles. Unusually, the panelled sides are walnut with an excellent surface.. The bottom faced with a deep moulded edge which has acquired a lovely crusty surface. Standing on original back stile feet and later, but period front bun feet. Exceptional original colour and patina.
