A fine, 19th century, high quality, crocodile attache, briefcase or overnight case with exposed handle, brass hardware with lock stamped 'secure lever' and key. Original buckskin leather interior and divider with a front locking pocket and folding down to serve as a writing surface. Wonderful deep and rich patina reflecting its history of years of use and handling. Maker unknown.

Can be repurposed as a jewellery box or box on stand in a bedroom or hallway or decorative object.
