The box top with two panels and decorated with applied mouldings, some carved. The interior with original ring hinges, and pegs to lock the two short drawers, the lock later. The frieze with two false short drawers above two short and one long drawer, the handles replaced the escutcheons and lock original, and faced with an applied, carved moulding. The sides with moulded panels. Standing on front bun feet and back stile feet. The side-hung drawers lined in oak, with a repair to one runner. Excellent original colour and patina. English, probably East Anglia, fourth quarter of the 17th century. 61081119
