In two sections. The plank top faced with a moulded edge above a dentil cornice. The upper frieze with a central, moulded panel inlaid with the date '1658' and sprays of tulip heads in bone. Two moulded panels inlaid with fruitwood either side. A large single drawer below with a central projecting, moulded panel inlaid with fruitwood and an octagonal, moulded panel inlaid with a flowerhead surrounded by sprays of tulip heads in bone. Key, escutcheon and working lock. Moulded architectural panels inlaid with fruitwood either side, with pairs of split balusters interposed. The knobs replaced.

The bottom of the top section faced with a deep moulded edge. The bottom section with two large doors with projecting, moulded panels inlaid with fruitwood and hexagonal panels containing an inlaid flowerhead surrounded by sprays of tulip heads in bone. Horizonal fruitwood inlays above and below. Two pairs of split balusters interposed. Key, escutcheon and working lock. The doors opening to reveal three long drawers. Faced with a later moulded edge. Standing on replaced bun feet. The sides panelled. Excellent original colour and patina. English, 1658.
