Table Trestle Dining Refectory 20-Seater Cherrywood

Period long trestle tables are the most practical tables to sit at. They are very hard to source and they tend to be narrow. This is a decorative piece probably only 40 years old or so, but as it is impossible to source period tables of this size and form this offers a practical solution. - Fruitwood tables of this size are rare, as the trees are very small in comparison to oak, walnut and elm. Being fruitwood it has a superior, rich colour and lustrous patina - It is also unusual to find a table with this width of 115cm, 45.28 inches - The trestle form is the most practical and comfortable arrangement for seating. - It it is attractive and would blend into most interior design schemes and very practical, sturdy and usable. It will seat 20 people. - Average width chairs (48cm) fit eight down each side and two at either end - The massive cherrywood top is made from two planks and cleated on all sides with moulded edges. Supported by two trestles with bold turnings joined by a long stretcher. Measures: Height 77.00cm., 30.31 inches, Length 350.00cm, 137.80 inches., Width 115.00cm., 45.28 inches. The armchairs below look amazing around the table and fit five down each side and one spaciously at either end, when not in use they can be pushed right in so you only see 16cm of top of the backs. The combination creates a spacious comfortable baronial aesthetic - A rare long set of 12, Antiquarian, Renaissance-style, Fruitwood, Upholstered, Open Armchairs - Rare to find a set of 12 of a Renaissance-style armchair, in 35 years of dealing I have not come across a set of this model - The model evolved from the backstool and was one of the first types of upholstered armchair and is a robust design with classic form - Traditionally upholstered, including the backs, in a woven floral striped textile in tones of gold, red and blue Strong, sturdy and suitable for everyday use - The fruitwood is a lovely warm soft colour with a lustrous patina
The rectangular back and seats upholstered in a modern machine woven floral striped textile in tones of gold, red and blue. The column and ball turned arms terminating in roundels, the legs, side, front and central stretchers similarly turned. Robust and ready to use. Suitable for everyday use.
