The lid with a finial and four stylised peony sprays surrounded by a blue square border with grasses. The body with lion mask moulded handles, and four repeats of the peony decoration with single flowerheads interposed. The rim with a stylised border. Decorated in blue on a pale blue glaze. In orginal condition. Probably Dutch, third quarter of the 18th century.
