A large, vintage, country house, knole armchair upholstered in a kelim textile
A Classic country house piece with the high back and wings creating a statement piece Really comfortable so the sitter sinks into it. The kelim textile has a Classic country house feel to it. The deep bullion fringe and tassel tie backs create a luxurious aesthetic. The high back and wings protect the sitter from draughts. The colors will harmonize with most interior schemes.
Provenance: Reputedly acquired in the early 1980s for a substantial country house where it has been lightly used in the main guest bedroom.
