The rectangular back and seat re-upholstered in 19th century bargello in shades of green, brown and beige. The downswept arms supported by turned uprights. The seat supported by turned front legs, central and side stretchers and straight back legs. The front legs on bun feet. Last quarter of the 17th century

This elegant open armchair has stylish turnings and the bargello upholstery is uncommon and very much sought after by collectors. It is in good condition and very usable.
