The form of the vases is fluid and soft. Painted with a ceremony with families bringing their children to a chief holding a bone club with a wise man beside him..
The back with Chinese script which I have not deciphered. The neck with two borders of interlocking hearts containing a band of floral and interlocking arc decoration. Bearing Chinese stamp on the underside. The conversion is recent so it conforms to UK PAT Electrical standards and it is reversible so they can revert to vases.
Measures: Height 70cm., 27½ inches Diameter 21cm., 8¼ inches.
