A 17th century, Spanish, walnut, writing table with original iron foils

The rectangular, one piece top has an old patch probably to a knot. The frieze is fitted with two, chip carved drawers on either side all with iron handles. The shaped trestle supports have chip carved decoration on the front and sides. The side stretchers are unusually decorated with chip carving, and one has an old patch.
Unsually, the iron foils are original. The bun feet are old replacements. Excellent original colour and patina.
Both sides are shown in the photographs, as are patch in the top and the stretcher.
