The flat cover with a similar band and with radiating panels of flowers around the moulded stylised stem and flower finial. The body with flowers on a seeded band between blue lines and with pierced shell and foliage handles. In original condition, The bottom marked "AP". Probably Dutch, circa 1770. Reference: "AP". The registered mark of Anth. Pennis, from "De Twee Scheepjes"(The two little ships), working from 1759/82.
