A rare 18th century, figural, brass candlestick in the Renaissance taste. The stem cast as a male caryatid, most likely Adam, holding the candlestick positioned on his head with one hand and a leaf protecting his modesty with the other. a broad low drip pan below on a tapering stepped trumpet turned base. Traces of gilding.
