Condition | It is rare to find cricket tables of this period as they are commonly mid-18th century pieces. This is a particularly fine example with a beautiful grain and lustrous surface on the top, and the delicate use of the bobbin turning generally associated with the mid-17th century. These tables were generally used as occasional tables to hold a light source, cup or platter beside a chair or in the corner of a room. |
